Martin Wise - Bassist

Martin Wise - Velvet Razor's Ex-Bassist
Martin "The funkmeister" Wise joined VR at the end of 2006 replacing William Kent. Martin did many gigs with us and joined us in recording our last studio venture "The Wyvern" in early 2008, he left the auspices of the VR clan October 2009 where he devotes his time to function cover band "Back row"

Martin is in fact an accomplished guitarist (in his own right), but he is also a virtuoso bassist. Martin has played in lots of bands, done many studio recordings and has had countless gigs (as a lead/rhythm guitarist).

We were fortunate to have a musician of his prowess with us he was the final piece of the VR puzzle.

As well as being VR's bassman, Martin is an accomplished electronics engineer by day and by night is the masked vigilante crime fighter, fighting for truth, justice and the English way! er, wait a minute, no he doesn't.

In fact Martin is in various bands including VR, does various open mike jams and still finds time for his hobby of fixing antique clocks.

I've got to say that he does like winding people up
he's got good gear and his favourite season is spring
