Multi band/open mic extravaganza. at the AP Bar Hersham.
First on were a great band "F.R.G"
featuring the talents of
Danny Fabris on the drums, two guitarists and two girl singers
(one of whom was a synth/piano player. They did an excellent set
Including "Teenage dirtbag", "I predict a riot", "Isn't it ironic" and several others.
Next on were "Velvet Razor" with a zen line-up of:
Dave Kent - Vocals/Guitar
Ian Pickering BassSynth/Piano
Ian King - Drums and percussion
They played all VR originals "Tears me apart", "Calling you", "You don't care", "Long nights" "Dancing fires" "Prime Obsession" and "Cherry Red"
Next on was Dennis Clifton's band "Face Up"
They did some favourites including such songs as "I predict a riot", "Come up and see me (and make me smile) Cockney Rebel-tastic mate...
The headline band was "AIM" who came on and played a variety of covers some
"Thin Lizzy", "Guns N Roses", "Led Zeppelin"
and many more...
