That was the song "The Castle" that you listened to, if you liked it then you can buy the CD-EP that has this with 3 other songs: Only available on the Razor's Edge EP click the image below to go to the item.
The castle, though a medieval subject lyrically, the music is strictly alternative rock. It is a song with Indie vocals, percussive U2 type guitar, with haunting harpsichords, synths and crashing drums. The Castle is a song that is considered to be a cornerstone piece of Velvet Razor's live music set.
This is a bouncy pop rock tune. Driving Funky type Bass, with wah wah guitar (with added boom chicka wah wah ?) (and now wah-wah bass guitar during passages in our live shows) It tells the tale of "Cherry Red" a young teaser of a girl, who likes to keep her boys hot and bothered. The protagonist and former lover wanna-be has other ideas.
This is a song that has touches of the music of Lou Reed and The Stranglers this song should appeal to classic rock, glam rock and new wake rock fans.
This song contains Monster guitar power chords, giant drums and solid vocals. This is a balls-out, shameless hard rock song. This is rock music and It should definitely appeal to "The Who" fans everywhere.

During the summer of 2006 Velvet Razor went into Garden Studios in Woking/Guildford Surrey to lay down some new tracks in a great studio there. The tracks were “Tears me apart”, “You don't care” and “The Castle” (this track was live debuted at Guilfest 2005). The sessions were recorded by 'Neville Dean". A really fun time and the first time in the studio for Will Kent and Ian Pickering. Neville did the production, helped with the arrangements and shared guitar duties with Dave Kent on a couple of songs; the results were quite gratifying.
