Dave started playing guitar and joined his first band while attending Heathside School in Weybridge, Surrey. Dave has played in many professional and semi-professional bands over the years playing originals, covers and 50/50 split.
Dave Kent founded Velvet Razor in 2003, he is the main song writer and visionary of the band. Velvet Razor operates as a benign dictatorship.
Though Dave has been involved in several bands over the years, Velvet Razor is dearest to his heart

Paul started playing the drums at school and has played in many professional and semi-professional bands (playing mainly Rock covers), he was part of a band named “Poser” in the late 1980’s and toured extensively in the UK and Europe.
More recently over the last two years Paul played in a number of music festivals in Asia and toured throughout Thailand in 2008 with a Thai superstar (spicy!) before returning to the UK in late 2008.
