Guilfest 2022 – Live Music Festival

Guilfest 2022

Guilfest – The great summer live music festival normally based in Stoke Park, Guildford Surrey, UK. However, this year it was set in Hurtwood Park Polo Club near Cranleigh. Actually, Guilfest was the brainchild of Tony Scott and was started in 1992 originally as a folk and blues festival. The last Guilfest was Previously in 2014.

Guilfest 2022

The highlight of the Summer

For many years this festival was the highlight for many music fans. Hosted in mid-July this festival saw some amazing live acts. Over the years there have been great A-list acts such as Motorhead, Simple minds, The Stranglers, Hugh Cornwell, Marillion, The Pretenders, Blue Oyster Cult, Echo and the Bunnymen, Billy Idol, Razorlight and the list goes on and on…

Guilfest is a unique festival

Essentially, what made the festival special was, as well as the great headline acts, the up-and-coming acts were given a chance on the lower stages with chances of promotion as the years go by.
The festival was greatly loved, however, the increasing costs of the great headline acts sadly pushed the event into insolvency. The last festival prior to this years was in 2014. The last one we played at (prior to this year) was 2012.
